WORK TASKS At Kiruna swimming pool, you are the manager of a large number of employees and you support your employees and provide the conditions for them to deliver a good service to Kiruna residents and visitors. The position involves many internal and external contacts, where you have overall responsibility for personnel, marketing, budget, business development and work environment. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create memorable experiences for the municipality's residents and temporary visitors. In your role as manager, it is important that you have the ability to create and maintain good and trustworthy relationships. The position is a permanent position in combination with a fixed-term management contract. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in a relevant field for the position and/or work experience that the employer considers equivalent. If you have documented training in leadership, we consider it an advantage. You should have previous experience of working as a manager or leader with experience of personnel and budget responsibility. Experience of work environment management and/or safety issues as well as work in the public sector, politically controlled activities and/or experience of working with associations would be an advantage. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both oral and written, is a requirement. Furthermore, we also see that you have a good habit of using computers as tools and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office. We are looking for you who want to be part of running and developing Kiruna swimming pool. As a swimming pool manager, you must be able to work independently, innovatively and solution-oriented. Based on political decisions, you work together with your colleagues to develop and optimize operations with a customer perspective. You understand the importance of good service and a professional approach. As a swimming pool manager, you are a role model and change agent and act on the basis of Kiruna municipality's values RASK (respect, responsibility, collaboration and competence). In your role as a leader, you are committed and innovative, you are communicative and enjoy working closely with your employees. You work to build trusting relationships and to create employee-driven activities by motivating and engaging your staff. Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Swimming ability is also a requirement for this position, as well as a B driving license.
