DUTIES AND TASKS
The Language Center consists of two units: the Mother Tongue Unit and the Reception Unit. In this position, you will work as a mother tongue teacher and tutor within the Language Centre organization, which means working in several schools.
The work includes:
Teaching mother tongue and study guidance in North Sami
Working in several schools in the municipality
Distance learning if needed
Teaching language options in North Sami if needed
You will be part of a team working to strengthen pupils' multilingualism and contribute to their knowledge development through mother tongue teaching and study guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher specializing in the subject of Sami.
It is desirable that you have experience of teaching. We see that you work well in interaction with students and colleagues. You are independent, proactive and goal-oriented. You see collegial learning as a prerequisite for student development and you look forward to working together in teams, towards common goals and focus on students. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
We would like you to attach your degree certificate and license to your application. Please also indicate in your application which subjects you are qualified in, and any other information you consider important.
As a result of the law on suitability checks, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented upon employment.
