JOB DESCRIPTION You will work as a teacher at Vittangi School in Vittangi. As a teacher, you will work closely with your team, the student health team, and other educators at the school. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on educational work based on the school’s guiding documents and the students’ needs. You will foster good collaboration with parents and guardians and actively participate in the school’s development efforts. We are seeking a teacher in Math, Science, and Technology for grades 7–9. You will also serve as a mentor. About Vittangi School Vittangi School is a pre-K through 9th-grade school with just over 100 students, located 78 kilometers southeast of Kiruna along the Torne River. All students are housed in the same school building, which also serves as the after-school program facility. The school has access to a sports hall, swimming pool, lighted trails, ice rink, library, and is close to nature.
