JOB DESCRIPTION.
As a teaching assistant, you work closely with teachers and students to contribute to a safe, structured and well-functioning school day. The role is varied and includes pedagogical support, administrative tasks and practical work.
Duties:
- Contribute to security and study peace by supporting students during the school day, for example at educational meals, during lessons and in various care situations.
- Practical support in teaching, such as preparing lesson materials, setting up classrooms and learning environments and helping with simple correction and documentation.
- Management of consumables and learning materials, including ordering, unpacking and organizing materials
- IT-related tasks, such as preparing digital work environments, liaising with IT support and updating software and digital tools.
- Support in mentoring and student follow-up by reporting absences, communicating with guardians and, if necessary, participating in work on problematic school absences.
- Participate in the work with extra adaptations and special support by supporting students in the use of aids and contributing to the development of support materials and adaptations based on student needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have an upper secondary school degree in children and leisure or other education that the employer considers equivalent and relevant. Experience of working with children and students in groups is desirable. Experience from preschool, school, recreation center or/and other activities where you have been a leader of groups of children is an advantage. You should have good social skills, be flexible, self-motivated, enterprising, responsible and have a good attitude towards colleagues, pupils and guardians. We expect you to have good communication skills and proficiency in the Swedish language in speech and writing. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
