JOB DUTIES We are now looking for an outgoing communicator who wants to contribute to the work with Kiruna municipality's brands. The focus is on spreading knowledge externally about the municipality's newly adopted place brand and internally about the employer brand. The service also includes supporting the administrations in their skills supply work. Kiruna municipality is investing in strengthening and anchoring its brands in the long term and this role is central to that work. In this position, you will work broadly with communication issues in a large organization. You will have a significant role and will work with managers and staff in all four departments. Alongside your responsibilities, you will support the activities in their daily communication. We are looking for you who have experience in strategic communication work, are used to delivering training, planning and operationalizing communication in missions and projects. You can adapt communication materials to different target groups and channels. The role requires good interpersonal skills combined with an independent and structured approach. It is important that you are outgoing and enjoy speaking in front of both smaller and larger groups. To thrive in the role, you need to be able to take your own initiative and work actively to achieve results. The work is planned and structured independently, while requiring the ability to act quickly when needed. The assignment also requires you to make many of your own considerations and priorities and to exercise good judgment. Sensitivity to the needs of the business and an unpretentious attitude are essential, as is the willingness to rethink and adjust when conditions change. Confidence in social contexts and the ability to build trusting relationships are key. When faced with change and new challenges, you have the ability to see the big picture. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have an academic degree in media and communication science, other education or experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience of strategic branding, preferably in the public sector, can analyze communication needs, plan, implement and follow up communication efforts. You are confident in delivering training, inspiring and engaging. Building relationships both externally and internally is central to the role and it is also important that you have a creative and pedagogical streak. We expect you to have a good ability to translate strategy into practice and a good understanding of visual identity, tonality and graphic guidelines.
