Meaningful relationships with patients, family members, and staff. As a nurse in the Health and Medical Care Department of Home Health Care, based in Vittangi, you will meet patients in their home environment and be responsible for their care in collaboration with home health care staff. Together with home care staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers, we strive to promote well-being and prevent illness among our patients. Through regular follow-ups and ongoing communication with physicians, the district nurse is responsible for the patients’ well-being. The work schedule is primarily daytime, with a 40-hour workweek and on-call duty every sixth week. QUALIFICATIONS We’re looking for someone who wants to make our patients’ days better, who is interested in working as part of a team and growing together. At the same time, you’re someone who can take on a leadership role and remain calm despite unexpected circumstances. You possess organizational skills and the ability to plan, combined with a friendly and professional demeanor. We are looking for a licensed nurse, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is advantageous if you have training as a community health nurse and/or previous experience in municipal health care. The position requires a Class B driver’s license.
