WORK TASKS Kiruna City Library is in an exciting phase due to new premises in Kulturhuset Aurora, centrally located in the new city center. The service consists of library administration that supports the library's various parts with, for example, borrower service, interlibrary loans, magazines, talking books and more. The service is located in the city library. Evening and weekend work is included according to schedule. A large part of the work, both in the library room and administratively, is done digitally. You should have good digital skills and the ability to inspire and help both colleagues and visitors. The important citizen service is a fundamental part of the library's way of working with the statutory mission of education, information technology and democracy. If you work with us, you will be an important part of ensuring citizen service and developing the content in line with society's needs. We are now looking for an administrative substitute for the period 2/2 2026-9/6 2027, the position covers 75%. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have an upper secondary education and preferably experience of administrative work. Previous work in a library is an advantage. As a person, you are creative, structured and have good collaboration skills. To thrive in the role, you should be able to organize and structure your day and your work independently. You enjoy new experiences and challenges. The position requires good written and computer skills. We attach great importance to personal qualities.
