JOB DUTIES As a Supervisor in the Daily Activities Program, you—together with other staff—will have pedagogical responsibility for the daily activities, where we strive to provide people with disabilities with meaningful engagement. At the Resource Center, we work on physical, mental, and social skills through everyday activities tailored to each individual. Each person should also have the opportunity to experience activities that enhance their well-being and promote their personal development. Examples of activities offered include sensory training, tactile stimulation, ADL training, music, computer skills, color and shape exercises, as well as supervised group activities at an external workplace. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an upper-secondary education in a pedagogical field, such as early childhood education, or alternative training deemed equivalent by the employer. The job requires good physical ability and mobility. Experience with or knowledge of sign language is a plus. You must be responsible, have a positive attitude, and demonstrate a clear educational approach. You should also be attentive to the employees’ individual needs, preferences, and resources. You demonstrate good judgment and understand that your words and actions influence the situation. You are open to new ideas, proactive, flexible, able to work toward long-term goals, and have excellent collaboration skills. Flexibility is also required, as employees’ work assignments may vary both internally and externally. You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
