The Social Services Department’s mission is to meet people’s needs for security. JOB DUTIES The work involves meetings with children, youth, and families, where documentation is a key component. We investigate cases in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), and we work according to the Child-Centered Approach (BBIC). You will also collaborate with other teams within IFO-MyA, as well as other government agencies and organizations. The role also includes some preventive work. Travel is part of the job. The Children and Family Group currently includes scheduled time for reflection and monitoring of external developments. QUALIFICATIONS The position of temporary social worker in the Children and Family Group requires a degree in social work or a college education that meets the National Board of Health and Welfare’s regulations (SOSFS 2014:7) regarding eligibility to perform certain duties in social services’ child and youth care. Experience in similar work is a plus. We are looking for someone with a holistic approach and the ability to bring different elements together, as well as commitment and a desire to grow.
