The Social Administration's mission is to meet people's need for security. The administration must work to ensure that the municipality's residents receive social care in various forms and with a special responsibility to safeguard the needs and interests of vulnerable groups. We are strengthening management in social psychiatry and are now looking for a managerial colleague for our business with about 25 employees. You are part of the social care management team and contribute to close cooperation between the unit managers.

WORK TASKS
Do you want to be involved in developing social psychiatry? We are looking for a confident and clear leader with a commitment to people with mental disabilities, sometimes in combination with addiction problems.
About the organization:
Socialpsykiatrin offers housing support, housing activities and open group activities according to the Social Services Act. The goal is to strengthen the individual's own ability and independence. The operations are affected by the urban transformation, where a new accommodation is planned to be completed by 2027.
About the role:
You will share management responsibility with a unit manager colleague and together you will be responsible for operations, staff, budget and work environment. The role involves representing the employer and being a good role model who clearly communicates the municipality's values of Respect, Responsibility and Cooperation.
Your leadership is close and relationship-building and is based on trust, participation and a strong user focus. The role involves working both strategically and operationally, where you combine presence in the business with follow-up, quality and development work and necessary administrative tasks.
In the role you are expected to, among other things:

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a relevant higher education, such as a social worker, behavioral scientist or other education in social work that is considered equivalent. You have experience of leadership and a clear interest in developing both operations and employees.
You are prone to change and confident in a leadership that motivates, inspires and creates participation. Your leadership is characterized by presence, support and an ability to build cooperation and job satisfaction. You actively contribute to good and professional cooperation within the management team.
As a person, you are trustworthy, relationship-building and work in a methodical and structured way. You lead with clarity, have a strong user focus and ensure that requirements and expectations are well defined. To thrive in the role, it is important that you are self-driven, confident in your decisions and have the ability to think strategically.
We work in business systems such as Combine, Timecare/Timepool and LifeCare. It is an advantage if you have experience of these or similar systems. We also see experience of having worked in a senior position in social psychiatry and LSS as an advantage. You express yourself well in speech and writing. B-driving license is a requirement. We attach great importance to personal suitability.

The position is covered by a fixed-term management contract in combination with a permanent position in the municipality.
