Your role

The Group IT department currently consists of around 100 IT experts. We are now looking for a Data Engineer who can strengthen our team with expertise in development and lifecycle management of decision support solutions, as well as related areas such as data management and information modeling. In the role of Data Engineer, you have a central role in creating and maintaining data pipelines that ensure efficient and reliable data integration, transformation and delivery for all users of the company's data. In addition, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of LKAB's data platform for data storage, processing and analysis. Your duties will include, among other things:

• Design and develop data pipelines that retrieve data from various sources for transformation and modeling
• Gather requirements and collaborate with BI developers to build data solutions that meet business analytics needs
• Integrate data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, and external systems

You have this with you

To be successful, we believe you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Good knowledge of ETL and SQL
• Star schema data modeling
• Knowledgeable in data warehousing
• Is consultative, works to build relationships and easily gains trust from the business, colleagues and suppliers
• Can express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
• You have a university or college education with an IT focus or equivalent work experience

B driving license and high school diploma are a requirement for all positions within LKAB.
