About the position
We are now looking for a Geologist to our near mine exploration groups in Kiruna, Svappavaara and Malmberget.
The near mine exploration department are, amongst other things, responsible for:
- Planning and supervision of diamond drilling in and around the mine areas
- Core logging & sampling
- Interpretation of geological data
- 3D Modelling in Leapfrog
- QAQC & validation of drill hole data
The position is permanent.
You will be based in the town of Kiruna or Gällivare.
Skills & Competencies
We are looking for a senior geologist with 5+ years of experience within exploration, mining or project development.
You have at least a B.Sc. degree in geology.
Knowledge of common softwares´ such as Leapfrog is beneficial.
As a person you should be responsible and driven, but also percipient and flexible. The positions include a lot of collaboration with others both within and outside the company, so good collaboration skills are essential.
You speak and write English fluently. It´s a plus if you speak and write Swedish, but if not, we want you to be eager to learn.
A Driving license is a requirement for the positions.
