About the business

Kiruna Malmföräðling's mission is to refine ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are souring, enrichment and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, of which four are part of the main process and the other four are support sections within maintenance, quality, technology and process development and material processes. The enrichment consists of two enrichment plants, KA1 and KA2, which produce concentrates and additives for the pellet plants and KMR. The organization is currently divided into four technical areas, operation, maintenance, electricity/automation and facilities. An extensive reorganization is underway within ore processing, which means that all technical branches apart from operation will be centralized and included in the new Maintenance section.

Your role

As Group Manager of operations in the enrichment plants, you will handle tactical and operational issues in consultation with your employees, as well as propose and discuss issues of a strategic nature with the section manager. Currently, you are the immediate manager of two production managers, three production managers and one production technician. During the autumn, the three production managers will be replaced by three production managers and possibly you will also be the immediate manager of six operation operators (K3).

The following tasks will be included in your position:

· Responsibility for the operation being conducted according to established work environment and safety requirements.

· Run delegated work environment tasks.

· HR manager for direct reports with responsibility for recruitment, training, skills development, rehabilitation and adaptation within the framework of LKAB's established policy.

· Machine owner responsible for operator maintenance being carried out and established targets for TAK and the environment being achieved.

· Development of production and prioritization of maintenance efforts in the work order process.

· Establish and manage budget for operation KA1/KA2 and ensure efficient use of resources

· Produce documentation for investments, 5-year plans/LOMP

· Responsibility for there being improvement activities

· That routines in the operational system within own area of ​​responsibility are established and developed

· Ongoing operational reporting to the section manager

· Request and complete MBL negotiations according to the negotiation procedure

· Good role model and clear setter of requirements: Ensure that the code of conduct is complied with in the business.
