We are building a Talent Acquisition team that will support our operations with qualitative and accurate recruitment processes and we are now looking for you who want to be involved in developing a professional and innovative TA function.

We want to lead the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. And in the same way that we want to change the world, we want to develop everyone who is with us on the journey, personally and professionally. Do you want to help shape the future of the world's mining and mineral industry?

Your role

In the role of Junior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work closely with managers in several operations to understand their business needs and act as an advisor in recruitment, develop effective recruitment strategies and deliver candidates to the organization.

You will manage the entire recruitment cycle, including search, screening, interviewing and hiring with a focus on driving engagement and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

You will be expected to use data to drive recruitment decisions and provide regular updates to stakeholders, hiring managers and/or HR Business Partners.

The role also includes keeping up to date on trends, innovations and challenges in recruitment in order to identify areas where we can be even better.

In addition, you will be involved in projects linked to competence provision and employer branding.

In this role, you will recruit collective employees and white-collar workers in a wide range of areas.

You will support operations at all our locations in Sweden, which means that the position entails some travel.

You will work in a team with both senior and junior Talent Acquisition Partners who are jointly responsible for recruitment and supply of skills in your area.

Locations are preferably Kiruna or Gällivare/Malmberget, but Luleå may also be relevant.

The position is a fixed-term appointment until the summer of 2025 with good chances of extension.

You have this with you

To succeed in this role, you need to have a great interest in recruitment and talent acquisition, and it is highly advantageous if you have experience of working with recruitment.

You have an academic degree in human resources or similar.

In addition, we would like to see that you have:

  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Results- and service-oriented with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical skills, being able to use data to drive recruitment decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Curious about innovations, tools and trends in recruitment.

As we see an increasing proportion of international employees, managers and candidates, very good knowledge of English is required, both spoken and written. You must feel comfortable holding interviews in both Swedish and English.

Driving license (B) is a requirement for all positions at LKAB.

Does this sound exciting?

Then we are curious to know more about you! Submit your application no later than May 31, but preferably as soon as possible as selection will take place continuously.

Why you should work with us!

We are leading the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. Our co-workers, a new world standard for mining, sponge iron and critical minerals will be key as we make our production carbon-free by 2045.

Global greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced significantly and within a short period of time. Tackling the climate problem will require a transformation – a significant challenge as global energy consumption is heavily linked to fossil fuels. It requires systemic changes that will take time and require a high degree of collaboration between industry and policy makers.

Based on our vision and mission, the strategy for LKAB charts the way forward towards zero carbon dioxide emissions from our own processes and products by 2045. It also secures our long-term competitiveness.
