The operations in Luleå include 3 facilities. Malmhamnen, which consists of unloading trains and loading ships with LKAB's products. The bentonite plant consists of storing, drying, grinding, loading and sampling bentonite. And in the Uddebo energy depot, inputs are stored in our cisterns, which, after storage in the cisterns, are loaded into railway wagons.

Your role

Now we are looking for a new maintenance technician in automation for our operations in logistics in Luleå. In this independent role, you are in charge of everything from maintenance to improvement work/development of our machines both in the short and long term. You manage contact with both internal resources and external suppliers. You work both systematically and visionarily in a position where your unique skills contribute to our business.

Your everyday life as a maintenance technician:

  • Plan/prepare work for automation technicians
  • Responsible for 5-year plans and automation budget in our 3 facilities
  • Act as contact person for suppliers
  • Work with electrical technology, measurement and regulation technology, configuration and programming

You have this with you

  • High school electrical education or equivalent
  • B driver's license
  • Knowledge and experience of process control systems, control technology and automation
  • Previous experience from the profession is meritorious
  • You enjoy working both independently and in groups
