Your role
As a mechanic at our mechanical workshop in Vitåfors, you will be part of a team with welders, component repairers, machine operators and technicians. You will work independently with repairs and maintenance of various components. The work involves, among other things, component repairs of gearboxes, pumps and separators as well as work with different bearings such as ball bearings and roller bearings. The work requires that you can read drawings/exploded views, use measuring tools (micrometers) and repair repairable objects.

The tasks are very varied and you will occasionally have several ongoing projects at the same time. The service includes documentation and follow-up.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge and a great interest in screwing in various components. You are solution-focused, diligent and committed. It is important that you take responsibility for delivering both on time and with high quality with a great sense of service. The job requires that you can work independently and together with others.

  • Driving license B and approved final grades from high school/or equivalent are a requirement.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Weld with ease, heat with gas and more.

  • Training in hot work and truck and traverse training
