We are looking for a process technician for Media, Svappavaara. If you have an interest in technology and are driven and committed, then this could be the role for you.

Media has a large area of ​​work and responsibility that includes, among other things, water supply in the opencast mines, ventilation, heating, compressed air, the dams, pumps, exhaust boilers and other pressurized vessels.

Your role

In your role as a process technician, you will work with various process technology solutions from a broader perspective, to contribute to the set goals for sustainability. This means, among other things, that you improve/optimize pressurized facilities, process and drinking water, compressed air, vacuum objects, oil boilers, energy use, ventilation and dams. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and remedying process technical problems as well as analyzing the various steps in the process.

You will act as technical support for Media's operating staff and participate in certain projects. You will be part of Media's management team and work together with group manager, uh technician, production manager, planner/preparer and operational staff.

You have this with you

  • High school diploma, preferably technical
  • Driving licence B
  • Knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

Meritorious if you have previous experience in the professional field and are familiar with working with computerized aids and technical support systems.
