Do you want to be part of inspiring, inspiring and leading within one of Sweden's largest transport companies and in an important mission for LKAB? We are looking for a driven and committed Production Manager for locomotive maintenance within LKAB Malmtrafik AB.

LKAB Malmtrafik is responsible for loading, unloading and transporting LKAB's iron ore products on the Malmbanan. We ship from the mines in Kiruna and Malmberget to the ports in Luleå and Narvik, as well as to SSAB in Luleå.

Your role

In your role as production manager for locomotive maintenance, you are responsible for creating an efficient and sustainable business. You are also responsible for delivering availability and utilization rate for our locomotive fleet according to set goals. An important part is to develop and drive the team and the business forward with a focus on continuous improvement. You do the day-to-day and long-term planning together with your employees and relevant engineers and you will be involved in strategic issues regarding the development of operations, workshops and working methods.

You manage 35 shift employees with broad technical competence. Good communication and coaching employees are important areas for you as a leader, and work environment issues are a high priority. You are responsible for management, coordination and development of the personnel group, set goals and support the employees in their goal-directed work. In the role of production manager, you have personnel, budget and follow-up responsibility for your business.

As a production manager, you are part of the section's management team together with other production managers and the section manager.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you with good collaboration skills, good leadership skills and the ability to work independently under your own responsibility. You have at least a high school diploma and we would like you to have previous experience of leading people. Driving license B is a requirement for the position. The position requires that you communicate well verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and in English.
