About the business
Kiruna Malmföräðling's mission is to refine ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are souring, enrichment and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, of which four are part of the main process and the other four are support sections within quality, technology and process development, material processes and dams and landfills. Are you a values-driven leader who wants to play an important role in realizing our vision of a new world standard for mining? Then you should apply for the position as section manager/plant manager for our long-standing sleeping plant in Kiruna! We are looking for you who are prepared to participate in change work around the development of working methods, culture and values on the journey towards CO2-free sponge iron.
As a section manager, you are part of the management team for Kiruna Malmförädling and report to the department manager. You have the overall responsibility for the total operations within your section/plant, which among other things means, together with your approximately 100 employees, ensuring production plans and quality commitments within the framework of budgeted costs.
Your duties also include personnel development, work environment work and financial performance follow-up. To help you, you have group and production managers who are responsible for the daily production in their respective areas as well as a close collaboration with other sections and support functions such as HR, finance and work environment.

University education, preferably in leadership/personnel or similar.
B driver's license.
Good communication skills.
General knowledge of LKAB's operations.
Previous work experience as manager/leader.
