During the summer, we need the help of positive and committed people who can replace our regular staff in Luleå Malmhamn when they go on a much-needed vacation. The ore harbor in Luleå is covered by a Bentonite plant and a port facility.
In the Bentonite plant, you work with grinding and drying bentonite, loading train wagons and maintaining the company's plant. The duties in the Bentonite plant consist of storing, drying, grinding, loading and sampling bentonite as well as mechanical and electrical maintenance. Other duties may also occur.
The operations in Malmhamnen mainly consist of unloading trains and loading barges and boats with LKAB's products, as well as maintenance of the operations' facilities. The duties as a Harbor Worker consist of working as a ship loader operator, control room operator or sampler as well as with mechanical and electrical maintenance.

In order for you to fit into the role of holiday substitute with us, you enjoy taking responsibility and you always have a high level of safety. Regardless of whether you will work in a group or independently, you must have good cooperation and communication skills.
• A completed or ongoing upper secondary education, preferably in mechanics, electricity or equivalent
• Driving licence B
• At least 18 years old
• Work experience from businesses similar to ours is advantageous, but not a requirement
