Your role

As Gruvmedia's Water Guard, you have a unique and central role for the continuous functioning of the workplace and the mine. The role largely involves planning and preparation of work on pumps and drainage holes with inspection and documentation as your main tools. Drilling water flow paths and water in shafts are your area of ​​expertise in a role that offers responsibility and ownership of your tasks. The role also involves close cooperation with contractors and external resources to ensure continuous maintenance work and be helpful in emergency water-related situations in the Kiruna underground mine.

  • High school education, preferably with an industrial technical focus
  • B driving license is a requirement
  • Operational and mining knowledge is an asset
