This is a joint advertisement where you who want to be on call as a kindergarten teacher in one or more of our kindergartens in Løten municipality can register your interest.

Løten municipality has four municipal kindergartens for children from 1 to 6 years: Lund, Ådalsbruk, Jønsrud and Revhiet.

We are now looking for on-call substitutes who can be available at short notice for shorter and longer substitutes in the event of the absence of permanent staff.

Current applicants will be contacted by the individual kindergarten as needed throughout the kindergarten year.
Your application will be active until 31.12.2026. If you wish to remain an applicant next year, you must submit a new application in 2027.
If you no longer wish to remain an applicant during this period, please withdraw your application in the CV portal.

Tasks

• Plan, implement, document and evaluate educational and practical work in the department
• Supervise and lead staff in the department
• Create a varied everyday life with a focus on the children's experiences, in line with the framework plan and the kindergarten's annual plan
• Contribute to a safe and caring environment through play, learning and challenges
• Facilitate and actively participate in play and activities with the children
• Work independently in small groups
• Collaborate well with parents and other partners
• Participate in educational development work and collaboration across departments
• Work actively with the focus areas: social competence/play, language and physical activity
• Work according to the principles of "The Incredible Years" (DUÅ)

Qualifications

• You must have an approved education as a kindergarten teacher/preschool teacher.
  
• Others with relevant pedagogical education, or who are final year students in the kindergarten teacher program can also apply.
  
• Experience from working in a kindergarten is an advantage
  
• Norwegian is the working language in Løten municipality. You must have a good command of Norwegian, cf. the Kindergarten Act § 27
  
• A valid police certificate (no older than 3 months) is required before starting
• Form for tuberculosis status and declaration of confidentiality is signed upon appointment
