We are looking for a committed and service-oriented assistive technology technician for the Prevention and Coping department. The department consists of assistive technology technicians, municipal assistive technology warehouse, occupational and physiotherapists, allocation team and housing office. We focus on health-promoting and preventive work and work every day to strengthen residents' opportunities to master their own lives - and to enable as many people as possible to live safely at home for as long as they wish. For many, good assistive technology and practical facilitation are crucial. In order to achieve these goals, we are dependent on a skilled assistive technology technician.

Tasks

  • Responsibility for the operation of the municipal assistive technology warehouse and technical contact with the NAV Assistive Technology Center
  • Receipt, delivery, transport, installation and cleaning of assistive technology
  • Maintenance, repairs and ordering of necessary service assignments
  • Contribute to needs assessment, purchase and replacement of assistive devices and welfare technology
  • Training of users, relatives and staff in the use of assistive devices
  • Collaboration with other services and actors, including the role of hearing contact
  • Practical assistance and environmental services at home
  • Documentation in relevant professional and data systems
  • Follow-up of car, workshop and service
  • Participation in improvement and development work

Qualifications

  • Desirable with a technical certificate in technical subjects or construction operations
  • Requires good digital skills and the ability to familiarize yourself with new technology
  • Desirable with experience from similar work

  • Requires driving license class B with manual gear with trailer B96/BE
