Department 2 is hiring nurses and social care workers for permanent, full-time positions!
Løten, Norge
Type of Employment Full-time

Application due date 17 August 2026
Are you the one?

We need two nurses/caregivers for Ward 2 at Løten Health Center!

Ward 2 is a 24-hour, secure ward for people with dementia and provides the highest level of care for people with dementia in the municipality of Løten. The need for secure rooms will vary depending on the patients’ needs. The unit has 27 beds, three of which can be used as reinforced secure rooms.

Person-centered care, patient participation, tailored activities, and environmental therapy are among our key priorities. We collaborate with SAM-AKS and work systematically on assessment. You will join a unit with strong professional expertise. We actively strive to create a positive and inclusive work environment, where your professional development is important to us.

The department is modern and forward-thinking, organized into four teams, each with its own customized color scheme that is reflected on the walls, furniture, and curtains. This promotes recognition, a sense of security, and structure for the patients. The building surrounds a sensory garden, where patients can move safely among shrubs, trees, and a koi pond with a fountain. The garden is designed to promote calm, activity, and sensory stimulation.

We use healthcare technology that helps make our daily work easier and more efficient, and, not least, enhances patient safety.

The goal is to promote quality of life, safety, and self-reliance among patients.
