Ådalsbruk kindergarten is a two-section kindergarten.
The kindergarten is located in the center of Ådalsbruk and close to nice hiking opportunities.

The position will start on 1.8.2026.


Tasks

  • Actively contribute to planning and be responsible, in collaboration with the pedagogical leader, for the implementation of pedagogical and practical plans in the department
  • Be active and engaged with children in play and routine situations
  • Contribute to children's well-being, safety and development
  • Support children in play and interaction with other children
  • Work with language stimulation and enable children to be physically active
  • Participate and contribute to planning, assessment and documentation
  • Collaborate with the rest of the staff group, also across departments, and with parents and other partners
  • Be a contributor in the kindergarten's professional environment
  • Everyone with us is co-responsible for a good working environment and well-being

Qualifications

  • A certificate in child and youth worker is desirable, but not a requirement
  • Experience from working in a kindergarten is desirable, preferably from a toddler department
  • Good Norwegian skills (oral and written) and can communicate in a clear and concise manner.
    If you have a mother tongue other than Norwegian, you must document that you have a language level in accordance with the requirements of the Kindergarten Act § 27
  • Basic digital skills
  • Experience from the municipality's focus areas, such as HOPP, is an advantage
  • Health that is compatible with being an active adult with the children
  • Requirement for a police certificate in accordance with the Kindergarten Act. The Kindergarten Act must be submitted before joining and that forms for tuberculosis and confidentiality are answered upon appointment

  • are receptive to new expertise, share this and want to develop yourself
  • are active and committed, enjoy being outdoors and in physical activity

  • are willing to change and adopt new knowledge to achieve the department's and the kindergarten's goals
  • generally in a good mood, have a willingness to stand up and want to contribute to a positive working environment
