Would you like to help develop an attractive local community through comprehensive and forward-looking land-use planning?
Read on—we’re looking for a dedicated land-use planner!
Løten is “A Hub of Diversity”—thanks to our central location, we’re close to just about everything. We’re centrally located along major roads and railways, with a short commute to Oslo and Gardermoen. In Løten, you can enjoy the best of both worlds, with both rural and urban qualities.
Løten is experiencing positive population growth, and we have several new and exciting projects in land-use planning and community development ahead of us. The land-use section of the municipal plan is due for revision; we’re building the school of the future and developing new residential areas. You’ll play a key role in this work alongside an external consulting firm specializing in community and land-use planning. You will coordinate planning processes and ensure effective communication with consultants, developers, regional agencies, internal experts, and residents. You will work closely with the planning manager and other professionals in the municipality in a positive work environment characterized by collaboration and a shared commitment to forward-looking and sustainable community development.
The position is located within the Technical Administration division, which currently has seven employees working in land-use planning, building permit processing, surveying, and GIS/mapping.
We emphasize adherence to Løten Municipality’s ethical guidelines and values: Respect, responsibility, and courage.
We place great emphasis on your motivation and personal suitability for the position.
Employment is otherwise subject to the terms and conditions set forth in applicable laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements, including favorable pension and insurance plans.
