Løten Virke is a day center in Løten municipality. We offer adapted work and activity to people with a need for support, activity and social participation. With us, participants have the opportunity to develop skills that bring joy and mastery, with a focus on communication, everyday skills and interaction.

We are now looking for on-call temps who can contribute to a safe, inclusive and developing environment for our users.

Tasks

  • Targeted environmental work in line with decisions and procedures
  • Facilitate well-being and good activity opportunities
  • Contribute to coping and good quality of life - see the resources of the participants
  • Maintain the user voice and participation
  • Collaborate with participants, relatives, colleagues and the specialist health service
  • Follow up goals and action plans
  • Prevent the use of coercion and force
  • Document in accordance with legislation and procedures

Qualifications

  • Students in health subjects, vocational certificates in health subjects, child and youth work, and in vocational subjects.
  • Unskilled assistants with relevant experience
  • Experience from working with the user group is a requirement
  • Desirable with knowledge of:
    • Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)
    • Therapeutic conflict management
    • Epilepsy
  • Good written and oral Norwegian skills
  • Good ICTknowledge
  • Driver's license class B (manual transmission)
  • A valid police certificate must be submitted before taking up the position
  • The form for confidentiality and tuberculosis status must be signed upon appointment
