The Health and Family Services Department in Løten Municipality provides health-promoting and preventive health services for children and youth ages 0–20 and their families. We have 11 full-time equivalents distributed among 18 employees, and we work according to the values of respect, responsibility, and courage. The department is located in the heart of downtown Løten and shares facilities with the Child Welfare Services, under a shared department head.
We have a permanent position available starting November 1, 2026
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks related to the school health service in accordance with laws, regulations, and national professional guidelines
- Provide guidance and instruction, both individually and in groups
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with various municipal services and other relevant partners, based on the BTS guide “Better Interdisciplinary Collaboration”
- Contribute to the development of the school health service
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Staying professionally up to date

Qualifications
- State-certified public health nurse. Public health nursing students with relevant practical experience working with children and adolescents may also be considered.
- Experience using computer tools
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian, both written and oral
Before starting the position, you must submit a valid police clearance certificate in accordance with Section 5-4 of the Health and Care Services Act, as well as a tuberculosis status form and a signed confidentiality agreement
