The position has work at both Østvang school and SFO, and will follow the school route. This means that you will have time off during school holidays, and receive 89% salary throughout the year.
It is desirable to start preferably from 01.08. or from the start of school, 17.08.26
Tasks
We have a growing group of Ukrainian students at our school who need support to find their way in the Norwegian school system. The position includes follow-up and facilitation for students who need extra support. You will also act as an important supporter for other Ukrainian children in their everyday school life.
Key tasks
- Provide practical assistance and support in everyday life
- Facilitate activities and social participation
- Assist students with communication and language comprehension in the classroom
- Help children build relationships with their peers and create a good school environment
- Collaborate closely with school staff, parents and professional bodies
Qualifications
- It is desirable to have a professional certificate as a child and youth worker, or other educational training. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of education.
- You must speak and understand Ukrainian or Russian fluently, as this is crucial for communication and security. You must also be able to communicate well in Norwegian.
- Experience from working with children or special education work is a great advantage.
