Løten Middle School is located in downtown Løten. We have about 270 students and are the only middle school in the municipality of Løten.
The Løten Public Library is housed in its own building adjacent to the middle school.

Starting November 1, we have a vacant temporary position (100%) running from November 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.


Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Approved teaching certification for employment in elementary school and formal education in the teaching subjects
  • The position will cover the subjects of English, social studies, and physical education
  • Interpersonal skills and strong digital skills are required
  • Must be up to date professionally
  • Experience working in a team
  • Knowledge of ongoing regional and national projects is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian, both written and oral

A police background check must be submitted before starting the position, and the tuberculosis questionnaire must be completed upon hiring
