Home and institution in Løten municipality provides health and care services to residents who need assistance in everyday life, either in their own home or in an institution.
We are now looking for a substitute for a position at our day activity offer for younger and older people with dementia.
The offer is located in a homely house in the middle of Løten center, and is based on activity, mastery and social meetings in safe surroundings. The day activity program is an important preventive measure. It gives the individual meaningful days adapted to their own interests and functional level, relieves relatives and helps more people to live at home for longer. We emphasize closeness, humor and good experiences - where the individual is seen and feels at home. As a temp, you will be part of a committed team that works closely with users, relatives and colleagues.
Tasks
- Daily operation of day activity offers for older and younger people with dementia disease
- Environmental therapeutic work in line with legislation, municipal and national guidelines and professional good practice
- Maintain the patient's resources and with individual adaptation based on the individual's needs, resources and goals
- Medication management
- Map, implement and evaluate measures in line with the department's plans with a focus on coping, activity and user participation
- Collaborate with patients, relatives, colleagues and students
- Contribute innovative thinking in development and improvement work
- Participate and contribute in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Document in the Gerica system
- Keep up to date within your own area of expertise

Qualifications
- We are looking for you who have Norwegian authorization as a nurse, social worker or occupational therapist. Others with a relevant three-year health and social college education can also apply. We ask you to state your HPR number in your application, where applicable.
- Knowledge of day activity services with a focus on mastery, activity and user participation
- Knowledge/interest in music and creativity in meeting people with special needs
- Generally good ICT skills and willingness to learn relevant professional systems
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian
- You must be able to present a valid police certificate on appointment, cf. the Health and Social Care Services Act. Helse- og omsorgstjenesteloven § 5-4 before starting
