At Department 1 at Løten helsetun, we now have two permanent positions available as a nurse, protective nurse or health professional at night. Here you will be part of a committed and competent team that works every day to provide patients with safe, comprehensive and professional care.

Ward 1 has 31 places, divided into long-term places, one municipal emergency care place and eight short-term and respite places.
This provides a varied working day with room for professional assessments, development and responsibility. We have good nurse coverage and a clear focus on quality in our services. Our working environment is characterized by cooperation, trust and good humor - here we support each other and take the profession seriously.

The night work is organized with both an ambulatory nurse for the entire nursing home and a stationary nurse, protective nurse or health professional on the ward. In the position, you will have the role of stationary night watchman on Ward 1, and work closely with the mobile nurse who has primary responsibility for two wards. Collaboration with the other department is also expected, which provides both independence in the role and security through available professional support.

Both positions are available from June 1, 2026, with working hours currently at night at Løten helsetun. Currently there is work every third weekend.


Tasks

  • Perform healthcare tasks in line with applicable legislation, quality requirements, municipal guidelines and professional good practice
  • Perform health-promoting care measures for both acutely and chronically ill users, as well as users with disabilities
  • Care for patients with acute and chronic illness, as well as people with disabilities. This includes observing, assessing and following up patients' state of health throughout the night
  • Responsibility for medication management in accordance with current routines (according to competence)
  • Documenting and reporting in the Gerica system
  • Supervising and collaborating with patients, relatives, colleagues and students
  • Collaborate with ambulatory nurses and other departments
  • Be jointly responsible for a good working environment and contribute to well-being in the workplace

Qualifications

  • Norwegian authorization as a nurse, social worker or health professional
  • For health professionals:
    Interest in professional development and willingness to take further education in clinical health care work will qualify to apply for the municipality's scholarship scheme.

  • Good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written
  • Basic ICT skills, preferably experience with Gerica
  • Valid work and residence permit
  • Requirement that a police certificate is submitted before starting, and that forms for confidentiality, tuberculosis and MRSA are answered upon appointment
