The Municipality of Løten is seeking an experienced project staff member to lead and carry out important research and evaluation work within the child and youth services sector. In the coming years, we will, among other things, evaluate services for children and youth, as well as assess the future structure of daycare centers.
The position will make a key contribution to knowledge-based decisions that will shape the municipality’s development for many years to come.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct evaluations and studies of the municipality’s services for children and youth
- Lead or assist in the analysis of future daycare capacity and daycare structure
- Prepare decision-making documentation, studies, and policy proposals
- Collect, analyze, and compile relevant statistics, research, and empirical data
- Contribute to project management, progress planning, and coordination of development work leading up to the new school
- Develop work processes and structures that support the Child and Youth Services Department’s overall project portfolio
- Provide advice and support to managers in change and development efforts
- Interact with various partners
Qualifications
Requirements
- Relevant higher education at a minimum bachelor’s level
- Experience from the public sector
- Experience with investigative work, analysis, and case preparation
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Norwegian
It is desirable that you have
- A master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in management, organization, or education
- Experience from the child and youth services sector
- Experience from municipal management or strategic development work
- Experience with project management and change processes
- Knowledge of municipal administration and political decision-making processes
- Experience with service development and organizational development

This is a fixed-term project position in the child and youth services sector in Løten Municipality.
