Nav Løten has an opening in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Nav Løten is a partnership between the state and the municipality of Løten, and we consist of two departments: employment-focused support and financial services, as well as the Qualification Department, which includes the Refugee Services and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. We’re located in the municipal building in Løten, and you’ll be working alongside skilled and dedicated colleagues. We’re passionate about providing people with opportunities and helping our clients achieve their goals of employment or education.

The mental health and substance abuse services in Løten Municipality currently consist of several staff members specializing in mental health and substance abuse and include, among others, an experience consultant, a FACT resource, and an RPH team (Rapid Psychiatric Health Assistance).


Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct talk therapy with a focus on motivation and change
  • Environmental therapy with a focus on activity and coping
  • Develop and lead group programs within the counseling service
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration within the municipality and with other support agencies
  • Focus on user participation and utilize Assisted Self-Help to ensure systematic user feedback
  • Identify and assess support needs and refer to other support agencies
  • Follow up with clients before, during, and after treatment in the specialist health service
  • Other duties may be assigned to the position

Duties may vary depending on the office’s needs.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a three-year college or university degree, preferably in health and social sciences
  • Strong digital skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian
  • Class B driver’s license


It is desirable that you have:

  • Further education in mental health
  • Experience from similar work
  • Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration
