The Cyber Security subject at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering, Luleå University of Technology is now looking for a part-time lecturer to contribute to a research project focusing on the development of tools for creative teleworking. Data management, such as access control and traceability of intellectual property, comes in as a particular challenge for the design of a tool. You will collaborate with researchers in a multidisciplinary project, to help micro and small enterprises operate internationally from the region. The project focuses on smart advanced technologies and developing small-scale and efficient data management for remote co-creation to support actors in cultural and creative industries. We are looking for a motivated and driven amanuensis with competencies in applied AI, machine learning, programming, computer science and design. Work tasks The work consists of both theoretical and practical work. Your tasks include assisting the project with needs analysis, design of interactive prototype, user testing and further development of the developed concept. Presentations and interaction with the project staff and target group are also included. Skills and experience A degree is not required, but we would like you to have completed project courses in computer science, applied AI, machine learning and database technology. We are looking for personal qualities such as the ability to independently plan and implement limited projects, and to compile and disseminate the results in collaboration with other researchers. We value your ability to communicate your work and results in a way that is adapted to the project's target group. Interest in creative work and good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing are therefore an advantage. Terms and conditions Employment as a lecturer is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who have been admitted to first- or second-cycle education may be employed as a lecturer (HF Chapter 5 §10). Hourly wage/compensation For all assignments, you will receive an hourly wage and valuable work experience for your CV. Hourly pay depends on the difficulty of the task: Level 1: SEK 156/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 25 700/month for full-time work). Level 2: SEK 171/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 28 200/month for full-time work). Level 3: Decisions on other salaries are taken in consultation with the manager in accordance with the rules of procedure and decision-making. Information about the position Employment as amanuens is limited in time from 2025-09-01 to 2025-12-31. Part-time employment of 50%. Location Luleå with the possibility of remote work. The workload may vary over time and by agreement, but the goal is that it is distributed in a way that makes it compatible with studies at the university.
