The Department of Systems and Space Engineering at Luleå University of Technology conducts the Computer Graphics for Games and Films course in Skellefteå, where we are now looking for a student with production experience in a film studio, who will work as a manuensis in our own VFX and game studio. Job duties In the case of basic education, the work may involve introducing students to the use of the studio and all the technology available in the studio. When it comes to projects, it can instead be about participating in the project as a technician. Competence and experience You must be enrolled in the program Computer graphics for games and film, bachelor's degree and have studied at least two semesters. You must have experience in handling equipment related to film photography and camera tracking systems. You must also have experience working in Unreal Editor, as well as Maya and Nuke. Terms Employment as amanuensis is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance ch. 5. Only those who have been admitted to education at basic level or advanced level may be employed as amanuens (HF ch. 5 §10). Hourly wage/remuneration For all assignments, you will receive an hourly wage as well as valuable work experience for your CV. In addition to hourly compensation, holiday compensation is paid in accordance with the Holidays Act. Information The position covers 10% of full time, i.e. an average of 4 hours a week from 07/01/2024 to 06/30/2025 or as agreed. Place of employment Skellefteå. The workload may vary over time and according to agreement, but the goal is that it is distributed in a way that makes it compatible with studies at the university.
