The Division of Industrial and Sustainable Construction at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering is conducting a research project investigating the conditions for wood in housing construction. In one part of this research project, we seek to identify what information the client or real estate developer needs to make decisions about wood as a material, wood in combination with other materials or recycled wood.
Work tasks
The task is to support the data collection in the research project related to the information needs of clients / real estate developers. This involves identifying clients and real estate developers active in Sweden, designing a questionnaire, distributing it, compiling data from the questionnaire, possibly supplemented with selected interviews.
Skills and experience
The necessary requirement for the position is that you should be enrolled in the civil engineering program, Architecture in the building construction department, and have studied at least 9 semesters. It is an advantage if you have competence from having conducted data collection and analysis linked to a degree project or a research project. You should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of wood in the building context
Conditions of employment
Employment as a lecturer is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who have been admitted to first- or second-cycle education may be employed as a lecturer (HF Chapter 5 §10).
Hourly wage/compensation
For all assignments, you will receive an hourly wage and valuable work experience for your CV. Hourly pay depends on the difficulty of the task:
Level 1: SEK 156/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 25 700/month for full-time work).
Level 2: SEK 171/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 28 200/month for full-time work).
Information
The post is 20% of full-time, i.e. on average 1 day a week for 1 month, from 25/11/10 to 25/12/10 or as agreed. The place of employment is flexible.
The workload may vary over time and by agreement, but the aim is to distribute it in a way that makes it compatible with studies at the university.
