The Electronics Systems research group at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering at Luleå University of Technology is long established in the fields of electronics design, electrical measurement technology and electromagnetic compatibility. We are active in education at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level and in several external research projects. The research group is now looking for a knowledgeable and committed student to serve as an assistant professor in teaching in this area.
Duties of the position
The work includes supervision of students in courses in the subject of electronic systems regarding laboratory work and exercises.
Qualifications and experience
You should be enrolled in the program Engineering Physics and Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Engineering or related field and be knowledgeable in electronics. You must be able to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish and English. Experience of similar work is an advantage. You must have completed the course E7030E, Electronic Systems, at Luleå University of Technology during your studies.
Terms and conditions
Employment as a lecturer is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who have been admitted to first- or second-cycle education may be employed as a lecturer (HF Chapter 5 §10).
Hourly wage/compensation
For all assignments, you will receive an hourly wage and valuable work experience for your CV. Hourly pay depends on the difficulty of the task:
Level 1: SEK 156/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 25 700/month for full-time work).
Level 2: SEK 171/hour (equivalent to approximately SEK 28 200/month for full-time work).
Level 3: Decisions on other salaries are taken in consultation with the manager in accordance with the rules of procedure and decision-making.
Information about the position
Employment as amanuens is limited in time from 2025-11-01 to 2026-01-31. Part-time employment up to 20%. Location Luleå. The workload may vary over time and by agreement, but the goal is that it is distributed in a way that makes it compatible with studies at the university.
