We are now looking for an Operations Controller with experience of working with operations management within a larger organization. The position is a permanent position at the Accounting and Financial Control unit, which is the university's central finance function. The unit is responsible for the preparation of financial management issues, resource allocation model, planning and follow-up, and internal governance and control. The area of responsibility also includes the university's financial accounting, financial administrative processes, annual accounts and preparation and analysis in the financial management area.
As an operations controller, you will work at an overall level and, together with other controllers, will have a coordinating responsibility for the entire business planning and follow-up process, which means, for example, coordinating the work on planning assumptions, follow-ups and annual reports. You will be primarily responsible for the planning process and for developing and coordinating the work on internal control and risk analysis. You will also contribute to the development and improvement of business management methods and tools for business intelligence, business monitoring and forecasting. As a business controller, you will also support management at various levels in their work on business planning and follow-up.
Qualifications
The position requires a university degree. Ideally, you will have extensive experience of working with business management in a large organization. You have worked with investigations, analyses and preferably had some form of project management assignment. Experience of working with risk analysis is an advantage.

You have good analytical skills, are outgoing, work independently, have a structured approach and are a driver of change. You are also accustomed to taking your own initiatives, monitoring the external environment in your field and taking great responsibility for your work tasks.
The work requires good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
Scope and location
We are looking for a business controller for permanent full-time employment with a location in Luleå. There is the possibility of remote work up to 40 percent. Probationary employment may be applied. Start as soon as possible, or by agreement.
