At Luleå University of Technology's Communications Department, you will work with everything from strategic communication and press to graphic design, moving media and photography. As a communicator at the Communications Department, you will work with planning, implementation and follow-up of communication efforts in various channels. For example, you will develop content and write texts for the web and social media, organize events or develop communication plans for specific projects. In 2026, with a possible extension, you will work 50% for Campus Total Defense as a communicator. Campus Totalförsvar is a national platform that brings together 37 higher education institutions with the aim of making education and research in the field of total defense more visible and stronger. Luleå University of Technology is one of two universities with coordinating responsibility within this initiative, which is led by the Swedish Defense University. Examples of tasks within Campus Totalförsvar are to create and develop content linked to education on campustotalforsvar.se, participate in planning and communication around seminars, training and conferences, and produce communication materials in collaboration with the Swedish Defense University. We are looking for you who - Have a relevant university degree in communication, marketing or equivalent. - Have experience of working both strategically and practically with communication in different channels. - Are a skilled writer with documented very good language skills in Swedish and English. - Is structured, self-motivated and easy to collaborate with different stakeholders. - Easily builds good relationships with colleagues and cooperation partners. - Is used to working independently, but enjoys working in teams and with varying communication tasks. It is an advantage if you have experience of working in large organizations, public sector or academic environments, as well as project management, event coordination or communication linked to community development and preparedness. You should have a B driving license. We attach great importance to personal qualities. Scope and location We are looking for a communicator for permanent full-time employment. The service is located in Luleå. Probationary period may be applied.
