We are now looking for a controller with several years of experience in financial management and follow-up. The position is a permanent position within the operational support located at the Department of Health, Learning and Technology (HLT), which has a turnover of SEK 300 million and has 200 employees. You will be part of an administrative unit with 23 employees who work with financial, educational and institutional administration and who are led by an administrative manager. The unit constitutes a common resource for the entire organization with the aim of providing administrative support to the management as well as researchers, teachers, research students and students.
As a controller, you will support the management in planning, control and follow-up issues. You also work with financial decision-making and analysis based on the needs of the business.
You will lead the financial work and be responsible for coordinating work on the budget, financial statements, forecasts and follow-up of operations. You will be responsible for further developing common procedures and working methods on financial issues. You will be supported by four economists who are responsible for the departments and research subjects and a financial administrator who works with day-to-day financial administration.
You will also be part of a network with the university's other controllers.

Qualifications
The position requires a university degree in economics, preferably with a focus on financial management/accounting. You should have a few years' experience of advanced financial work in the field. The work requires good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You should be outgoing, have very good interpersonal skills and a great sense of service. You are results-oriented, analytical, have a structured approach and find it easy to build good relationships with people around you. Furthermore, you must be able to work independently, be a driving force for change and take great responsibility for your work tasks. You must have the ability to be responsive to the support needs and requirements of management and the business.
Scope and location
We are looking for a Controller for permanent full-time employment with a location in Luleå. Probationary employment may be applied.
