About the role
As a Degree and Credit Transfer Administrator, you are responsible for handling cases related to the awarding of degrees and processing applications for credit transfers. The work involves both independent decisions and close dialogue with students, examiners, program managers and other functions within the university. The function consists of three people and the group belongs to the study administration unit.
Your main tasks include:
- Processing degree applications and checking that the student meets the degree requirements for the degree applied for
- Processing of credit transfer cases, such as previous studies, exchange studies and prior learning
- Documentation and decisions according to applicable regulations and internal guidelines.
- Student contact and service via email, telephone and student receptions.
- Collaboration with departments, education administrators and study counselors.
- Participation in development and quality work in the area.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have a relevant university degree/education, preferably in social sciences, law, pedagogy or equivalent.
- Have very good ability to interpret regulations and work in a structured and thorough manner.
- Have good communication skills in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
- Are service-oriented, solution-focused and enjoy working independently as well as in a team.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience of administration in the higher education sector.
- Good knowledge of the Higher Education Ordinance and other relevant regulations.
- Experience of study administration systems, such as Ladok.
