KIA - Competence provision in the Construction Industry, a collaborative project between Swedish Technology and Design, Sweden's construction industries and the Swedish Transport Administration. Luleå Municipality and Luleå University of Technology are now jointly looking for two students who want to work as group leaders for high school youth during the summer of 2024. As a group leader, you will jointly lead a summer job project for a group of high school students that involves coming up with proposals and ideas that contribute to the positive development of Luleå. The project that the high school students will focus on will be developed by Luleå municipality and will be about developing proposals for planning, design and development of a specific area. In previous years, it has been about residential areas, the city's parks, the archipelago, traffic solutions and more. Qualifications To work as a group leader, you must be a student at Luleå University of Technology in road and water engineering, architecture, construction and civil engineering or equivalent education. You have a great interest in community planning and experience in leading high school youth. You are a committed and responsible person who can inspire others as well as take your own initiative and solve problems independently. It is of the utmost importance that you are a team player who can also cooperate and work together with others. Experience from the modeling tool CAD is advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Scope and location As a group leader, you work full-time from 17 June to 5 July. In addition to that, a week's paid work is included for preparation and after-work by agreement. Most of the work will be carried out at Luleå University of Technology in Luleå.
