Within the university there is a collective operational support with seven departments. We are now looking for a unit manager for the University Office, which is part of the Department for Planning and Finance. The university office handles cases and provides advice and support in the areas of law, procurement, information management and information security. The unit has a central role in the university's decision-making and case processes. As head of unit for the University Office, you ensure the unit's services and support for management, researchers and teachers, and develop the unit's operations in close cooperation with the academy and other units and departments within operational support. The assignment also includes development of the university's information security and ownership of the IT systems that affect information management. You also have operational, budget and personnel responsibility for the unit's 18 employees and are directly subordinate to the department manager for planning and finance and are part of the department's management team. Qualifications You must have an academic degree relevant to the assignment. You have experience in qualified leadership assignments with personnel responsibility and have a clear desire and ability to motivate, develop and lead employees and operations and strive for efficient working methods and high quality. You are a good communicator who can express yourself clearly and pedagogically in complex matters both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English. As a person, you are open, responsive and have the ability to create good relationships while being driven, clear and goal-oriented. You have courage and integrity while being diplomatic in your approach. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
