We are now looking for a work environment coordinator to join our work environment team at Luleå University of Technology, located at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering at the operational support, and you will work for all subjects within the department. As a work environment coordinator, you are an important part of the work of driving, coordinating and developing the department's work environment and safety work for the laboratory activities. The position mainly involves work related to physical safety and work environment, machine safety, radiation safety, but also chemical management and laboratory-related environmental aspects. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a relevant education, for example in occupational health and safety, mechanical engineering. You have practical experience in laboratory work and good knowledge and/or experience in some of the following areas: - Machinery safety (experience in operation of equipment, pressurized devices, gas) - Relevant health and safety legislation and environmental legislation in laboratory environments - Physical health and safety management Experience working in a college/university environment is an advantage. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented and take initiative. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English. To succeed in the role of work environment coordinator, it is important that you have an interest in work environment, environment and safety. The work is characterized by a high degree of independence, while at the same time requiring you to be collaborative and responsive with a very good ability to pursue issues with good judgment and get them heard. You should be a relationship builder with good diplomatic and interpersonal skills. A strategic approach is valuable in the work. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
