We are now looking for an HR Administrator at Luleå University of Technology - a workplace where knowledge, development and the future meet. Your role As an HR administrator, you will be a central part of our operations. You support departments and divisions in various personnel-related issues and work closely with both management and employees. Your duties will include, among others: - administration and management of recruitment, employment and contracts - issues related to tax, migration and intermittent employment - induction of newly recruited doctoral students - purchasing and ordering IT products and other materials - record keeping and registry You will act as a key contact person between departments, institutions and our central HR department, and will have the opportunity to build good relationships with both internal and external parties. Your working environment You will be part of our administrative unit - a shared resource providing support to heads of department, heads of division and researchers. Here we work together to develop and improve our procedures, and you will also be part of a university-wide network of HR administrators. We are looking for you who have: - at least a high school diploma and experience in administrative work - good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken - used to working in different administrative systems and tools It is an advantage if you have a degree in HR or equivalent, experience of HR work and previous work at a university, college or government agency. We attach great importance to your personal qualities. As a person, you are thorough, service-oriented and self-driven. You are easy to make contacts and thrive in a role where you get to be the spider in the web - while having order and structure even when the pace is high. Scope and location The service is a full-time temporary position, 1 year with the possibility of extension. Place of employment is Luleå with start as soon as possible or by agreement.
