The HR department consists of 20 committed and competent employees who are jointly responsible for the strategic and operational HR work within the university and provide professional and qualified support in the HR and salary areas. We have started a development journey, where we work in two teams within the HR specialist group. One team focuses on competence provision and the other focuses on actively offering managerial support. If necessary, we support each other between the teams.
We are looking for an HR specialist who will be part of the competence supply team.
What the job entails
In this role, you will focus on all parts required to supply the university with expertise. You will work with everything from searching for candidates, tools for personality assessment and support in competency-based interviews to working with active candidate care.
You will run and handle recruitment matters both within the academy and operational support. For employment within the academy, the employment process is handled in a special order via an employment committee where the rector or head of department then decides on the employment.
There may be occasional training opportunities where it is expected that you can plan and conduct workshops in an interactive manner. Another part of this role is to be involved in other projects and strategic initiatives that are ongoing in the HR department.

You have an academic degree and experience of working with competence provision in the HR area. You find it easy to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have experience of working with competence supply and recruitment within a college/university and have experience of carrying out tests and searches. It is also advantageous if you have experience of working in recruitment systems and other system support within the HR area.
As a person, you enjoy working both short- and long-term with competence supply. You enjoy working in different types of processes and can persist and push for work even though the processes can be long-lasting, sometimes up to a year. Other qualities that will make you thrive in this role are that you have an eye for detail, like to plan, that you are patient and have a curious attitude. You have a positive attitude and see opportunities for development.
