We are now looking for a number of hourly employed library assistants for our university library in Luleå with the task of keeping the library open evenings, Monday - Thursday and daytime, Saturday - Sunday during the semester. Tasks are to help visitors with their questions, show the self-help area, be visible and available in the premises. Important tasks are also to keep the room in order, set up and pick up books on shelves and more. We are looking for you to work in the spring semester 2026, with the possibility of more semesters.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a student at Luleå University of Technology, or you who study library and information science at another university. It is important that you have a good command of the Swedish language and can also communicate well in English. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for you who take great responsibility for your work tasks, have a good attitude and are careful. You are easy to work with but also able to work independently.
Scope and location
Hourly employment when needed during the semester, usually 4-6 hours/week, according to schedule at the library in Luleå. There is some flexibility in the schedule to make it easier to combine work with your studies.
Hourly wage/compensation 171 SEK/hour, in addition to hourly compensation, vacation compensation is paid according to the Vacation Act.
