We are looking for an IT Management Manager to help lead and develop the work of our Common Technical Platforms within the IT Department.

About the role
As IT Administration Manager, you will play an important role in our transition of the existing IT environment to new platforms and hybrid solutions, for example in developing options for joint operation with external partners or in collaboration with other universities. You will participate in procurement and work actively with our suppliers. You will be the link between the business and IT and, together with the management manager for the business, you will coordinate and manage development and management work to achieve the set goals for the object.
You are the hub for the IT support and services developed and managed in your project. You will supervise and coordinate delivery teams within Common Technical Platforms.
You are expected to be able to work independently, have the ability to prioritize while maintaining a holistic perspective. You will take great responsibility and continuously evaluate new solutions and ideas that can contribute to more efficient operations, reduced costs or higher security.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- A degree in systems science or equivalent, or other experience deemed comparable by the employer
- Proven experience in project or administrative management
Meritorious
- Certified Management Leader PM3
- Good knowledge of IT base infrastructure (network, server, storage)
- Good knowledge in user and identity management
- Good knowledge of working with IT vendors
- Experience in procurement of IT services
- Experience in structured work with information and IT security according to established standards, e.g. ISO 27001
- Experience working with AI to monitor and develop management tasks
Personal qualities
We attach great importance to your personal qualities. You are structured and have good problem-solving and communication skills. Personal responsibility and drive are a matter of course for you.
The work requires good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
Scope and location
We are looking for a management leader IT for permanent full-time employment with location in Luleå. Access takes place according to agreement. Probationary employment may be applied.
