Hello! Are you interested in working as a payroll specialist in an exciting and changing environment? Then you could be the one we are looking for.
The HR department consists of 20 dedicated and competent individuals who together are responsible for the strategic and operational HR work within the university and provide professional and qualified support in the HR and payroll area. We are now looking for reinforcement to the group working in the payroll area, which currently consists of five people.
About the position
We are looking for you who have experience and interest in legal and contractual interpretation in the payroll area and a good understanding of system issues.
In your role as a payroll specialist, you work with ongoing payroll administration and other tasks that exist in the payroll area, such as issues related to business travel, pension and output. As a payroll specialist, you have in-depth knowledge of payroll and calculation issues and how these arise, are regulated and change in law and agreements. You will process cases in the PA/payroll system Primula and ensure that they are complete and comply with current agreements.
The role also includes ensuring that the system handles cases in accordance with applicable agreements, some system administration and development and support of the system. You are also expected to participate in development work and digitization projects in the payroll area.
The work includes keeping up to date and disseminating information on payroll-related issues, for example via internal training, intranet and personal contacts to various roles within the university. We apply a consultative approach, which means that you actively support and guide colleagues and managers in payroll-related issues, act as expert support in interpreting rules and agreements, and contribute to raising the level of competence within the organization through advice and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
You have a high school diploma, it is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in payroll/equivalent or many years of experience in the field.
You are an experienced user of computer and IT support and are comfortable with new systems. You have experience of independent payroll work and you are used to interpreting and applying laws and agreements in the payroll field. You are able to express yourself easily in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
